Amorgos island is a favourite European destination when it comes to yoga and wellness, with teachers from all over the world coming here every year to host their yoga retreats. We have been welcoming retreats since 2011 and and we are happy to be the official host and venue of Elysia Yoga Convention.
The 3rd annual Elysia Yoga Convention will take place from March 29 – April 4th and will continue to inspire and enrich the holistic wellness field once again.
Elysia yoga convention first began in 2015 with the idea of bringing together yoga teachers from all over to world to honour the practice of yoga in a peaceful oasis of luxury and inspiration. Interest from yoga teachers quickly grew in being part of Elysia and every year, the convention gets bigger and more abundant in yoga education, information and attendance. Each teacher brings their unique skills to the convention, some teaching different types of yoga classes, others guiding meditation sessions or leading informational workshops.
Elysia is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded souls and other yoga lovers. Yoga teachers and wellness professionals from all over the world will join us in celebrating the beauty of the yoga practice. Each one will offer a unique yoga practice which everybody can take part in, learn and enjoy.

Elysia is the only luxury yoga convention in the world held at Aegialis Hotel & Spa, the only 5-star hotel in Amorgos island. Elysia convention is open to all yoga enthusiasts. We have a great line up of international yoga teachers as presenters, as well as other yoga teachers who will come as attendees, but Elysia is also open to the general public. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in spending 7 days of wellness, self-discovery, luxury and daily yoga in one of the most prestigious yoga events. On top of this, you will experience the beauty of Amorgos island.
Exploring the beauty of Amorgos
As part of the convention, there will be different activities such as guided hiking tours around the island, encouraging attendees to explore Amorgos by foot to connect with the wild, untouched nature of the island. Discovering the island’s natural treasures, those present at the convention will also be accompanied on sightseeing tours, visiting famous monuments like Monastery of Hozoviotissa, Chora and different beaches of the island, weather permitting of course.
